ALUMNI VOLLEYBALL GAME
| The 3rd Wishek Volleyball Alumni Game will be held on November 26th in 2011. I will be sending out about 65 invitations this year to potential players which includes five from the Class of 2010. There were 28 participants for the first alumni game in 2007, 23 in 2009, and it would be great if there were at least 30 participants in 2011 for a five-team tournament. In the past, games have started at 4:00, and that seems to have worked out to be a good time. As usual, I'm looking forward to planning and hosting the event but mostly participating in it. It's great to get all these girls together and play a sport that we all love. There will be concessions available, and there will also be a 50/50 raffle. All money raised will be donated to the high school volleyball program for the girls to go to camp. So, keep your calendar open for that day, and I hope to see you there supporting us. |
